15 miles and a very wet crew.

15 miles and a very wet crew, that's about all we accomplished today. The weather SUCKS! We traveled from Cheboygan to Mackinaw City (15 miles) today because we could. The next marina is 25 miles down the east coast of Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan had 6 to 8 foot waves today. Worse yet, the national weather forecast said this was the best day we can expect through TUESDAY. Glad we moved to Mackinaw City, we are walking distance to stores and restaurants and 500 feet from the Mackinac ferry (like we need a boat ride).

Skip came in today to join the trip and replace Denny. With the weather being what it is, Jeff will probably return with Denny, leaving Skip and I to travel down Lake Michigan.
Skip and I are going to sit tight here in Macinaw City for the next 3 or 4 days.

I have wanted this light to work for 5 years, a few days down and we were able to get the damn thing working.

Calm seas and a threatening sky this morning.

Mackinac Island. Kathy and I snowmobiled to this island three years ago.

The Mackinac Ferry has a little more speed than "Whatever It Takes".

The crew is growing weary of the cold and rain.

Dinner with old crew and Skip.
