Follow along as Dick and crew embark on the last leg of the Great Loop. They'll be on "Whatever It Takes IV", a 53' 1967 Matthews. The Great Loop is the continuous waterway that encompasses the eastern portion of North America including the Atlantic and Gulf Intracoastal Waterways, the Great Lakes, the Canadian Heritage Canals, and the inland rivers of America's heartland.
I know you will be leaving soon, so I wanted to wish you the best of luck in your departure. I have subscribed to your feed and will be following along daily. I will be living vicariously through you while I sit at my desk :D Make sure to post many pictures because I look forward to reading all about your adventures. Best wishes,
Ah Captain West. I understand the departure was delayed due to weather. Rumor has it that there was a problem with the batteries. I here from my sources that a great seafaring lady had informed the Captain months ago about the need to check on them. Danette
Good thing your batteries chose to disappoint you now rather than waiting until you were in some remote location. Bon Voyage! I'm looking forward to tales of your adventures. Cindy
Hey Dick, Have a great voyage! What size of Mathews is "Whatever it takes IV"? The guys at Arcus will be following along with your journey-explain the route you are taking a little if you get a chance.
WOW! I feel like a little kid again with the ancicipation. Give me a call at (330) 697-6750 72 hours prior to let me know when and where to meet you. Can I bring one saltwater tackle box and two rods? Have a Greate and Safe trip!
