A deranged rabbit in the bilge

Today was Dave's departure date. Dave is a close friend, a super deck hand, and a good sport. Walter and I will miss his company. With that said, I feel it important to note that shortly after Dave left the generator started running perfectly and the depth sounder mysteriously began functioning.  Coincidence???

Walter and I got underway at 2:00 today (one hour earlier than yesterday) with all systems go. We travelled 40 miles and are docked in BFNC. While we were working in the engine room we discovered a deranged rabbit. I believe this may have been the cause of our equipment problems and scuttled it off the ship.

We found this deranged rabbit hiding out in the bilge (actually my Uncle Walt who spent the morning working with the mechanic repairing the generator).

We were 8 miles (45 minutes) from our marina and the sun was getting to close to the horizon.

This moon pic was taken after we finished a good ships supper (ham and scalloped potato's with melted sharp cheddar cheese topping.
