We are boarding your craft !

After we traveled two hours in 2 to 4 foot waves we thought the excitement was over. That's when the radio shouted "Vessel Whatever it Takes, this is the U S Coastguard. We will be sending a two man boarding team on your craft. Slow down, we will board on your Port side". Denny said "What the hell"? They boarded and spent 10 minutes inspecting the entire craft. After the inspection they told us all was in order, gave us a get out of jail free card, and sent us on our way. So much for having nothing to write about. High waves, big barges and the law all within two hours. The balance of the day went well and we arrived at Downy Creek Marina in Belhaven, NC at 3:00.

It's to early Dad.

Denny piloted us by this beast.

We had two hours of 2 -4 foot waves while traveling down the Neause River. That is salt spray on the windshield. North Carolina has narrow creeks and enormous rivers.

This dog does have eyes.

Denny misses the Tuesday night card games.

Home for the night.

What I hope my boat doesn't look like after the Loop.
