You can have your cake and share it too.

My first attempt at baking on board went well. This is a 9 inch yellow cake (Jiffy) with milk chocolate frosting (out of a can) and it tasted as good as it looked. Danette had one small piece, Tucker and I split the rest with some cold milk. No wonder the dog loves me.

Shook our sandals at Atlantic City around 11:00. I was beat from yesterdays run and slept till 9:00 then got fuel and pumped out the holding tank. Our trip today was to be short by design, 45 miles to Cape May, N J. Cape May is the last marina area before entering the Delaware Bay. Tomorrow we travel up the Delaware to the entrance to the C & D Canal, around 60 miles. There is a Marina in that area I plan to stay at then go across the C & D on Sunday morning (12 miles) and enter the top of the Chesapeake Bay. The information I have says to stay in the main shipping channels to avoid shifting shallows, Crab Pots, Oyster shell mounds, and other weird hazards not usually found in Lake Erie.

We are about 1/2 way through the cake and Tucker needed a drink of milk.

The traditional area of the Atlantic City Harbor, probably have slots inside.

The new area of Atlantic City, same architects as Montreal ???

Inside the channel to Cape May, very narrow with a wicked cross current.

Danette and Tucker trying to plan the quickest route up the Delaware.
Me, ignoring Danette and Tucker and planning the safest rote up the Delaware !!!
